XRP and SHIB Armies Have Questions About Elon Musk’s Tweet
Elon Musk, the innovative tech entrepreneur, recently tweeted about his new impending X app upgrade, which drew the attention of XRP and SHIB users.
Elon Musk, the founder of the prominent social media site X (previously known as Twitter), has showed the community a “early version of video & audio calling on X.” In doing so, he cited a tweet from a person calling himself “Dogecoin designer,” who provided step-by-step instructions for conducting audia and video conversations on the X app.
His update reads: “To enable video and voice calls on 𝕏: Go to Settings > Privacy & Safety > Direct Messages > Enable Audio & Video Calling.”
Multiple X accounts reacted to Musk’s tweet, including numerous large SHIB and XRP-themed accounts.
The Shiba Inu team’s official marketing specialist, Lucie, uploaded an animated GIF of a SHIB dog using a banana as a telephone and saying, “Bring ring ring ring.”
Major XRP-themed account @XRPcryptowolf just asked Musk a question: “When is X accepting XRP payments?” This X user has frequently compared the X app’s logo to that of XRP, so supporting the prospective (although improbable, given Musk’s preference for Dogecoin) prospect of X adopting this cryptocurrency for internal payment.
Overall, the community expressed excitement about the new features that Musk promises to add to the X app shortly, extending its utility and bringing it one step closer to being the ultimate “Everything app,” which he hopes to transform X into in the near future.
